A set of 5 comic book covers for IDW Publishing’s Transformers: Last Stand of the Wreckers series.
This series was a lot of fun to do and I’m really happy with how they turned out. As with my All Hail Megatron covers I’ve used a limited colour palette with the goal of making the designs pop out on the shelves. I also was going for a bit of a militaristic propaganda feel. Because a lot of the shapes used are really quite simple I’ve added a lot of subtle textures to give the design an extra level of depth.
The logotype I designed for the title has been further used on the series’ alternate covers and advertising and I have made it available for use on promotional banners and avatars made by fans.
